The game
Frostwake is a colony survival game in a frozen world. By day, the survivors go out to find what they need to hold on; by night, the colony closes behind its gate. What happens in between is up to you, and to everyone else.
The colony
A gate, a storehouse, defences. What you bring back is shared, what to keep is decided together, and the gate is held when night falls.
The council
An elected governor, appointed secretaries, votes that bind everyone, up to banishing those who put the colony in danger.
The gate
Outside, before a closed gate, you knock to let them know you want in. Inside, you see who is waiting, and you choose whether to open, or not.
